Katherine Howell-Kiser

Half bank and half community center, the inaugural branch of Columbia Bank’s new prototype—The NeighborHub—is located in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood. The environmental graphic design throughout the space serves to reflect the unique past, present, and future of the surrounding community and encourage connection and interaction. Elements such as a pivoting curvilinear room divider and an updatable feature wall allow the space to flex and change throughout the year.
